Molten to start sales of the official match basketball for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Molten Corporation, a manufacturer of sports equipment, will launch the official match basketball and handball for the Olympic Games Paris 2024, to be held from July 24 to August 11, 2024 in Paris. The balls are developed by Molten under license of the International Olympic Committee and will be sold globally. It will be the first time for Molten to sell official match balls for the Olympic Games with the Olympic logo.

The basketball match ball was designed based on the BG5000 model. This model was first used in 2019 and has been used at all international matches held by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) since then. It has an exclusive design with the Olympic Game Paris 2024 logo and a sport pictogram. 

Molten will continue to develop and supply basketball and handball products of outstanding function and design to every level of player, and work to fulfill the brand promise, “For the real game.”
